Loiselle Insurance Agency was a proud corporate sponsor of this week’s concert by the South America East Music Forces benefiting the Salvation Army in Pawtucket RI. The concert was held on April 16, 2014 at the Center by the Blackstone, Visitor Center, on Main Street in Pawtucket.
The South America East Music Forces is a group of talented musicians that make up the Territorial Band, Territorial Songsters, and the Timbrel Brigade (a brigade of female members who perform choreographed dance while playing tambourines along side the band). Most members are young college students who belong to the Territorial Institute of Music in Buenos Aires and they represent the South America East Territory of the Salvation Army which includes Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Music and arts are a large part of the Salvationist culture and it was very apparent that the group’s members were extremely talented well-trained musicians. The group is committed to the mission of The Salvation Army and Loiselle Insurance wants to congratulate them for putting on a great concert!
Rosalynn Davila, a commercial lines customer service representative from Loiselle Insurance, was in attendance to enjoy the sights and sounds of the evening. She really enjoyed the section of the concert when they welcomed a group of Pawtucket students to play along with the band. She reported that she “had a great time listening to the beautiful music and it was a great joy to witness such amazing talent in these groups of both local and foreign young people.”
The South American East Music Forces play at Salvation Army events around the world including important celebrations and anniversaries. In February of this year, they were even chosen to participate in the International Congress in London in 2015. We congratulate them for their commitment to the Salvation Army and for spreading their talents with the rest of us!
All proceeds from the concert went to the Salvation Army in Pawtucket RI. We appreciate their efforts in assisting local families in need.
