Welcome 2015! Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book! Start the first page by following these resolutions to keep you safe on the road!
–Properly maintain your vehicle: regular check-ups and routine maintenance will help to ensure your vehicle will stay in good working condition.
–Never drink and drive: Be alert for other drivers who may be driving drunk. Consumer Reports say, “More than 10,000 people die in drunken driving car crashes each year.”
–Buckle Up: Plain and simple!
-Signal: Use ‘YA BLINKAH’. Doing so could help prevent nearly two million accidents a year.
-Stop on red: You learn this in driving 101. Nearly tens of thousands of people are injured annually resulting from red-light running.
-Drive the speed limit: We realize sometimes driving the speeding limit is unbearable. But, nearly 1/3 of fatal car crashes involves speeding. What if the victim was a family member?
-Keep your children safe: Don’t let your child under 12 sit in the front seat! All children under 8 years old should be secured in car seats.
–Check the weather: Weather plays a major role in road conditions. If you must venture out during bad weather, be prepared for the challenges
–Review your insurance policies: A new year is here and many things have changed since 2014. It’s important to re-evaluate your home and auto insurance policies to make sure you are accurately protected.
